A while back, I had taken up an interest in liquor and wanted to learn more about how to mix drinks. Only knowing about Rum and Coke got old after a while, so I started accumulating my own liquor and learned how to make some really neat drinks. Along the way, I took up an interest in Scotch and Cognac, and purchased some neat bottles of what I thought at the time was high-quality spirits. Well, I think today's purchase, at $28000, is higher than any quality I ever imagined and will become the finest bottle in my collection (for now at least)!

This is a bottle of Remy Martin Cognac Black Pearl Louis XIII, a 1.75L magnum. There is a whole
website by devoted to this Cognac, and it looks to be quite a special creation! With the smaller 750ml bottle, there were only 786 decanters made, and the website says even less of the magnum size. I bet it's going to have an infinitely long finish! Can't wait for a taste!
